TRAVEL to US for UK Tourist - Las Vegas

TRAVEL to US for UK Tourist - Las Vegas
If you are traveling from the UK to the USA for a vacation or holiday, be sure to bring your holiday phone along  with a prepaid SIM and cell phone us to learn how you can make cheap calls from anywhere in the USA. Read on to learn about some of the wonderful places you can travel to and use your mobile data or a USA mobile phone to get from place to place. There are many cell phones to choose from once you get to the USA from expensive ones to cheap phones you can use while on holiday and throw away when you get back to the UK.

Some of the cell phone you can get include: Smart phones LG cell phones, Nokia, Motorola, Pantech, Samsung Galaxy, Android, and Jitterbug. There are many others but these are the most popular. Some of the cell phone carriers include: US Cellular, Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Virgin Mobile, Sprint, Motorola Mobility, and Pure Talk USA, to name a few. If you want to be able to make really cheap calls but still have a nice phone, try buying a used or refurbished cell phone. You can get rent one from Cellhire US cell phone rental or you can buy a cheap prepaid cell phone.
If you are coming from the UK to the US to visit Las Vegas, think about bringing your own personal cell phone and buying a local SIM card. By doing that, you will save an enormous amount of money in roaming charges. Plus, you will be able to make local calls free, which will come in handy when touring Vegas as it is easy to get lost in the “city that never sleeps.” There are a LOT of things to see and do in Vegas besides gambling and casinos but if that is what you want to do, you have come to the right place.

Since Vegas is the city that never sleeps, you will find pretty much everything open 24 hours a day, 7 days per week and even though the slot machines cost money, there are still many other things in Las Vegas to do that will not cost you a penny. Old neon signs never die, they just get reused, and neither does the old casinos; at the Neon Boneyard Museum that is. The Las Vegas, pinball is not a place you will see any neon but you will see plenty of ringing bells and flashing lights, which is right across the street from the Liberace Museum, which houses an arcade full of row after row of pinball machines just begging for your quarters.

Check out this LINK from TripAdviosr to find out more things to do in LAS If you like museums, take an hours drive just northwest of the city to the Nevada Test Site and tour the Atomic Testing Museum. From there you should not miss the Valley of Fire, which is the most spectacular scenery of vivid red rock formations, made from sandstone millions of years ago. Back in Las Vegas make sure to go to the Luxor Hotel where it is much more than a hotel. You can see exhibitions of the Titanic pieces, which were recovered from the seabed, the Gunther von Hagens exhibition of Bodies. Follow that by a trip to Mandalay Bay hotel for a nautical trip to Shark Reef Aquarium and from there, go to the Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art to view the paintings of Renoir, Picasso and Degas. Also take in the Volcano at the Mirage and the Lion Habitat at the MGM Grand, and what would a trip to Vegas be without going to Planet Hollywood.

TRAVEL to USA for UK Tourist

Of course, you could always bring your own personal cell phone with you and just change out the SIM card once you get to the US. This is recommended because for you to use your UK SIM card would cost you a lot more in roaming charges. When a person travels internationally, they have to use foreign networks and this can get quite expensive very quickly. If you buy a cell phone SIM card in every destination, it will help you avoid large fees for simply making a local call. If you are traveling in the USA and using a national carrier like AT&T or T-Mobile, you will rarely incur roaming charges.
The most obvious benefit to purchasing a country specific, prepaid SIM card once you get to the USA from the UK is that you will have a local number to give places like hotels, and tourist guides plus you have the option of purchasing prepaid “top-up” cards even at most convenience stores. If the idea of having to purchase a prepaid SIM in every country you visit is not something you want to do, consider purchasing an international SIM in advance of your trip. Even though every cell phone company handles their international SIM cards differently, they all allow you to send and receive messages and calls in all foreign countries at their local rates.  You should check out www.sim4usa.co.uk
Traveling in the USA can be an incredible and life changing experience. Between the iconic landmarks, breathtaking views and dazzling nightlife, you will never want for anything to do.  British Airways offers flights to most all major US cities but a tip you might be interested in is that it is over £200 cheaper to fly from London to an East coast city like Washington, DC, New York, Atlanta or Miami. If this is your first trip to the US you probably will not need a tourist visa as long as you have a valid, individual machine readable passport, a return ticket and you are not planning to stay more than 90 days.
